Aldie, VA Interior Designer

Aldie is located between the cities of Chantilly and Middleburg in Loudoun County, Virginia. The area was settled in 1765 when James and George Mercer established a mill at the location of the present historic edifice. In 1811, a post office had been established in the village. The area has many historical landmarks. However, Aldie’s most famous resident and historical monument was President James Monroe, who constructed his private residence at Oak Hill in 1822.
